as soon as i saw the words “J.J Abrams” slapped on the advert i got VERY excited, and i told pretty much everyone i know to watch fringe as soon as it comes out. so if i said that you were right about this, i’d be a bit hypocritical

SO true - my inbox has been filled with so many Google Alerts for Fringe in the past month that I don’t even bother reading the articles anymore. :-/

As one of the biggest offenders I have to agree, but I think we are too close to it to be objective. Sure, the hard-core JJ Abrams fan may be overloaded, but what about the regular Lost fan, or Sci-fi fan, or just the general TV audience? Probably not.

Most people wont even see our Fringe blogs, forums, wikis, until after the show comes out, but by then all the hype will die down as well.

I could not agree more.
It has reached the point that I am almost “tuning” it out.
