According to Variety, Dominic Monaghan has been added to the cast of the X-Men Origins movie “Wolverine”:
Monaghan will play Barnell, a mysterious character from Wolverine’s past who has the ability to manipulate energy and electricity…
Soooo…he’s the X-Men version of Elle? 
Seriously though, congrats to Dom!
If you haven’t heard already, LOST will be getting an additional FIVE episodes, post-strike, for a total of 13 episodes this season. Of the original EIGHT finished before the Strike, we will see through 4.07 before we get a FIVE-WEEK break. LOST will then resume on April 24th (moving to its new time slot on Thursday nights at 10 p.m. EST) with episode 4.08. Assuming they are still planning on running the episodes week-to-week with no break, that would put the Season 4 Finale on May 29th.
Just got sent this link from The Associated Press of an interview with Terry O’Quinn. Half the interview is in that vid, with the other half coming out on Thursday, I believe. He talks about Locke and his Island obsessionlove 
I couldn’t hear it, but am assuming there are spoilery bits for Season 4.
If you have read this blog for awhile, then you know that speaker and I both are never-ending fans of former LOST writer, Javier Grillo-Marxuach. The insanely talented Javi’s television series adaptation of his comic book series “The Middleman” has been officially picked up by ABC Family. w00t!

The Canadian paper, The Globe and Mail, posted THIS ARTICLE about LOST - its return this week, the viewers of the show, the effect of the WGA Strike, etc. It’s a good read. Not spoilery either, except mentionings of what happened in the S3 finale.

I was interviewed last week by The Houston Chronicle about being a fan of JJ and LOST. It seems that the interviewer liked what I had to say because my name comes up often in the piece that went live today.

The interviewer really didn’t have much of an understanding about online bulletin boards, so when I told her I was a moderator there, I think she misunderstood what that was. Just wanted to remind everyone that TODAY is the last day to bid for the LOST items in the Fans4Writers Silent Auction. The bidding ends tonight at 11:59 p.m. - so get to it!
As has become tradition, ABC will air a LOST retrospective of Seasons 1 through 3 before the S4 Premiere. This one is called “LOST: Past, Present & Future” (heh - “future”…get it?). It will air on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 8 p.m. (EST), with Episode 4.01 “The Beginning of the End” airing right after it at 9 p.m. (EST).
Taking a glance at ABC Medianet, I noticed that ABC is reairing the LOST Season 3 Finale - “Through the Looking Glass” - on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 8-10 p.m. (EST). From what I’ve heard about the Season 4 Premiere, we are all going to want a refresher beforehand. 4.01 picks up right where TtLG ended, at least with respect to the island story

Okay, I’m sure all of the LOST fans are giving a big “Well, DUUUUHHHHH!” to The Futon Critic’s pick for the number 1 television episode to air in 2007, but still - that is quite the honor. At least it is to people like me, who blog about how awesome everything that Bad Robot touches is, and who gets peeved on a regular basis when the awards shows turn a blind eye to brilliance they can’t quite comprehend.
That link takes you to the Top 10 (the entire list is for the Top 50 of 2007), which includes some pretty amazing television in and of itself. For “Through the Looking Glass” to get the top spot is pretty damn special. Congrats.
