We may see more of “Six Degrees”

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Nothing set in stone yet, but found the following bit of news from ABC Prez Stephen McPherson:

McPherson said that struggling dramas The Nine and Six Degrees also could return this spring, adding that Six Degress had resumed production to complete 13 episodes, while production on The Nine would not resume, because 13 episodes already had been completed.

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

According to this Variety article, Lost will be shifting to the 10 p.m. time slot when it returns in February (possibly to avoid the American Idol ratings juggernaut). Let’s just hope the audience follows the move *crosses fingers*

“Six Degrees” shelved until January

Thursday, November 9th, 2006

In an unsettling move for Six Degrees fans, ABC has decided to take the show off Thursday nights effective immediately*. It will be replace by Men in Trees starting November 30th. According to the article, Six Degrees will return in January, though what night is undecided at this time. I read a rumor elsewhere that there was additional retooling being done on the show, but I have yet to read that anywhere else.

*ETA: Six Degrees will NOT be on tonight. A repeat of Desperate Housewives will air in its time slot.

LOST will return from hiatus on Feb 7th

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

According to Zap2it, Lost will return for the second part of it’s third season on February 7, 2007. That is three months after its last episode before hiatus, which airs on November 8th, and it will run uninterrupted until the finale.

“Six Degrees” scheduling change

Friday, October 13th, 2006

So I was poking around the ABC Medianet site to get the episode description for next week’s episode of Six Degrees, and I noticed in this week’s press releases that the Six Degrees episode that was supposed to air in two weeks (on October 26th) has been taken off the schedule for that night. Instead, ABC will air a new Ugly Betty, then double-repeats of Grey’s Anatomy.

I was a BIT freaked out, but then I found that it did indicate that the Six Degrees episode that was supposed to air 10/26 “What You Wish For” — will now air the following Thursday (11/2).
