Tim Kring, creator/exec prod/writer for Heroes, mentions his conversations with Damon Lindelof while developing the show in this article, including the lessons learned from what Lost has gone through.
From this Hollywood Reporter article:
Rogue Pictures and Intrepid Pictures have picked up the movie rights to “Couriers,” a series of action graphic novels, and have set writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach to adapt.
Written by Brian Wood and illustrated by Rob G, the series follows the adventures of two gun-toting mercenary couriers named Moustafa and Special who take on jobs other couriers do not, such as intelligence, large cash transfers, protection, assassinations and blockade-running.
Awesome news for the Javiminions ![]()
There is a nice interview with Jorge Garcia over at TeenTelevision.com. Interesting bits and funny bits, of course. There is one tiny casting spoiler related to the next Hurley-centric episode.
I absolutely HATE paparazzi, but sadly no other legitimate news source had this blip about Jennifer Garner, Victor Garber and Michael Vartan doing lunch earlier this week. The video of them leaving the restaurant just astounds me with how AGRESSIVE those photogs can be. Sadly, the actors seem to be used to it.
I’ve read enough of these summaries of the Lost panel from the TCA press tour to know that THIS ONE by IGN is probably the only one you need to read. These guys must have taped the thing, because the article is FIVE PAGES long (and includes pictures, which is always a good thing).
I haven’t had a chance to read the entire article yet, but read enough to know that it does contain SPOILERS for the rest of Season 3 and various characters’ storylines.
Former Lost scribe and current writer for Medium, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, has penned a comic book mini-series for Dynamite Entertainment based on the original Battlestar Galactica television show. Comic Book Resources posted this review for Issue #1: Cylon Apocalypse, that includes an interview with Javi (which is ALWAYS good fun to read).
And by “brief” — I mean BRIEF, so don’t get your hopes up. But iFMagazine did get The Nomad to at least reiterate what is confirmed and NOT confirmed. In the unconfirmed category? STILL nothing official about whether or not JJ is going to direct.
Nothing set in stone yet, but found the following bit of news from ABC Prez Stephen McPherson:
McPherson said that struggling dramas The Nine and Six Degrees also could return this spring, adding that Six Degress had resumed production to complete 13 episodes, while production on The Nine would not resume, because 13 episodes already had been completed.

I finally had a chance to read Kristin Veitch’s “live blog” of the Lost panel at the TCA’s last weekend. You can find it HERE. She did have a few tidbits that I had not read elsewhere, including a confirmation that Kate and Sawyer were taken by Ben to help in manipulating Jack to perform the surgery. There ARE SPOILERS, so be wary.
ALSO — if you are a fan of Heroes, she mentions a SPOILER for that show as well. You’ve been warned.
I have not read the actual Men’s Journal article that got quoted in this AP article, and I’m pretty sure I don’t want to. I am a fan of Matthew Fox — I really am. But the stuff he says in that article, whether it be true or not, is just stupid. Is he afraid that he is coming off as being too boring or something like that? GEEZ!
So, I was poking around on ABC’s media site and noticed that though they have STILL yet to post the episode information for Lost Ep. 3.07, they DID change the show synopsis to include (vaguely) what is to come in the second half of the 3rd season. There are some VERY interesting tidbits. It is SPOILERY, so I’m putting it behind a cut:
Elizabeth Mitchell discusses her character in an interview with SCI FI Wire that took place over the weekend. She doesn’t get into anything too spoilery, but confirms that the February 7th episode, “Not in Portland,” is Juliet-centric.
Like LOST? Like to meet other LOST fans? Like to bid on LOST-related swag that will benefit one of JJ’s fave charities? Like the possibility of rubbing elbows with some LOST VIPs? Well, then have I got a party for you!

*This event was previously known as Destination: LA.
Following that Lost panel at Television Arts & Sciences this past Sunday, SCI FI Wire snagged an interview with Damon Lindelof, wherein The Nomad indicates that their hope is to end the show around 100 episodes (or after the fifth season). Quotage from Damon in the article:
“We all looked at each other at the very beginning and said, ‘By the grace of God will this show even survive 13 episodes,’” he said. “So Carlton and I are able to now sit down with [the network] and say, ‘Remember in the very beginning when you were having us convince you that this thing could go on for years and years and years and we all agreed it couldn’t? Well, now, just because it’s successful doesn’t mean that that’s changed.’ The reality is, they can produce a sixth or seventh or eight season, but would anybody be watching?
Preach it, brotha. Let’s hope the network is listening.
