Hey guys ~

Just got in from Comic Con LATE last night/early this morning (ugh). I see that there has been some coverage of FRINGE’s presence there, but I believe I have a few things to share that you may or may not see elsewhere. For one, I videotaped the FRINGE panel (from the second row) - all I missed was the very last question to JJ, which didn’t even have to do with FRINGE (it was a question about the infamous box TED talk he did), so once I get that loaded, I will share it here. I also accidentally participated in the FRINGE Scavenger Hunt, so I have pics of that AND pics from the top of the parking garage where my friends and I got to see the MUCH more complete FRINGE pilot episode. To put one query to rest…YES, the episode was scored and YES (thank GOD) the music was done by Michael Giacchino. Also..I found an Easter egg in the Pilot that was NOT in the leaked version

FINALLY, I can make the announcement that I have been dying to make since…February Thanks to the insane awesomeness that is JJ, Burky and Bad Robot - FRINGE fans now have a place to interact with each other AND with members of the Creative Team AND (hopefully) actors from the show. That place is FRINGE DIVISION — the Offical Site for the Creative Team Behind FRINGE and it is sponsored by J.J. Abrams.

For anyone who is familiar with The Fuselage site that was made for LOST - FRINGE DIVISION should look and feel very familiar to you. It is designed and run by the same duo who made the Fuse: Karri and Artie. In fact - if you are registered on the threaded board of The Fuselage, your registration carries over to FRINGE DIVISION - just login with the same User Name and Password.

The site has been up for a couple of weeks while we have been working the bugs out, but it is a fully operational battlestation so feel free to go give it a spin. My buddy Rick (aka J.R. Orci, one of those writer/producer guys for FRINGE) has already been breaking in his Q&A forum on the threaded board, and a few more VIPs should start appearing over the next couple of weeks. There is a pretty thorough article about the various forms of advertising that FOX and BR are using to draw in potential viewers for FRINGE by Joe Adalian at TVWeek.com. It looks at the viral marketing, normal/pseudo-normal advertising avenues, plus the funky radio ads that have cropped up - and includes a link to hear the radio ads. There is mention of something called “The Pattern” which seems to keep cropping up. What’s with that anyway?
